i was wondering if is to fly in e.g spotlight intelligentmode whilst having the tripod mode on?

I don't think the intelligent mode can be combine as tripod is pretty slow, it wouldn't be fast enough to catch up with the target, unless you are trying to capture racing of turtles.  And in that case, if you are doing active track, the drone should move like a tripod mode, so you don't really need to combine.

Correct, you can only use one at a time.

Same, I reserved the model 3 but I'm not keeping any hope that it will deliver before middle of 2018

I agree with that. I was one of the fist ones, sat in line for 2hrs.
I don't follow the Tesla forums, it will come when it comes.
I am really looking forward to it.

Turtle Racing. I love it! LOL

That goes right in there with my telephoto/macro lens - great for taking pictures of dead insects!
Tracking Turtle Racing isn't practical with my super-macro lens - a turtle anywhere within reasonable distance overfills the screen - LOL

Hi ken, not related to this thread, is it normal that mavic would drift for like 30 seconds after it takeoff with 9-10 satellites, is it possible that you can check my flight log that I just sync. My email address is mr.anthonychiu@gmail.com

I do not really see any drifting in your two last flights while hovering. I do see thew last flight had 13 satellites on takeoff and the one before that had 9.

The GPS works together with the compass, make sure you have done a proper compass calibration with no metal around and also no metal in your pockets and the RC/phone on the ground away from you.
Also, if you are going to fly DO NOT power on the aircraft with the arms folded in, that will cause some interference.

Try that and let me know now it works.
