Maybe you can explain to myself as well as everyone else in Australia why the price for the new inspire is 31% more for us. Retail price in US is $2999, now with the conversion rate thats $3963, yet our price is........wait for it........$5199!!!!!!!! ARE YOU F.....ING KIDDING ME!!!! It's actually cheaper for me to fly to the US, purchase one and then fly home!

Totally agree with you, and based on the warrenty system you may as well tkaevthe punt and by US based  on the money saved!

DJI Inspire 2 Flight Simulator Hi, Can anyone tell me if the inspire 2 has the flight sim in the go4 app, I have to birds a ph4 pro & just bought the inspire 2. When i use the go4 app for the ph4 i can use the flight sim but when i connect the inspire 2 i can no longer see the flight simulator. Any help would be greatly appreciated i have deleted the app and re-installed it but still no flight sim with inspire 2.

My wife and I were just discussing that specific topic a few minutes ago. We have the Inspire 1 and use the flight simulator in the GO4 app and our Inspire 2 arrives next week and with all the new features and flight modes it would be nice to practice with a flight sim. So DJI - if it is not currently available can you tell us if it is planned down the road for use with I2?

Edit: Harryscopic Inspire uses micro four thirds mount, its not exclusive to DJi drones

Obstacle Sensing - Does this work at night & in fog etc? Or is it reliant on normal cameras so daytime decent visibility only??
Is it the same for the phantom 4 pro?

I didn't know if you ever had this answered?
The OAS requires light to work >15LUX   so, no they will be disabled at night or in dense fog.

Operating Environment
Surfaces with clear patterns and adequate lighting (> 15 lux) All the best

Yes, the go App 4.02 has the flight simulator for the Inspire 2. From the main home page go to the upper right top and tap on the three lines and select Academy from the list. This will take you to the flight simulator icon on the first selection.

All the aircraft supported in this new DJI Go App 4.02  have a flight simulator option available, but you have to connect and turn on the aircraft for this to work.

Hi Richj53, I have the latest  Dji Go4 app and as you can see there is no simulator present, I deleted the app and re-downloaded it and still no Sim. I know when i use my other drone the ph4pro i can see it and use it ...but it's not there when i use the Inspire 2.

I've also checked using my phone as well and below is a screenshot of each one selected and the only one that has no Flight Sim is the Inspire 2.

I read in the instructions that you can use just one battery.  I believe it has to be installed on the right side (looking at it from behind)

Hi inspireme

I do not own the Inspire 2 yet and was checking both my Mavic Pro and P4 with the DJI Go App 4.02. the flight simulator is active for these drones because I own them and can turn them on and connect (to check them).
So if I understand you correctly, you have the Inspire 2 and have it turned on and connected and the screen shot of your Go App 4.02 does not give you the FS?  

Sorry if I have make a mistake, I have really no way to check this right now. My Go App 4.02 looks the same as yours because I do not have the I2 to test this out.

Maybe DJI can comment on this subject and help us out!

OK, it's not physically in there Connected or not connect it should still show the simulator you just won't be able to activate it if your not connected to your device. And yes all the others have the Sim, Don't connect to your device and you'll still see the simulator in the flight Academy.

Same here not there at all.  not even greyed out why have DJI deleted this. I can't fly my brand new inspire 2 because it was sent to me with the wrong props and now can't even use the simulator. get your s*it together DJI

Awesome drone! I'm afraid that I would need to wait for my Mavic and practice my flying skills first before trying this one )

Come on, stick with the Mavic, this aircraft is not for you.
You wanted something portable to get good footage and very long range and you fly by yourself.
The Mavic is perfect for you.

I just have not heard much about this , to me this feature is going to be a game changer and fight times and distance will only be limited by battery power.  

It will push the boundaries for local deliveries of small items as well.

It will work with a USB dongle and the SDK.

Long time no see... Hope you are doing well. (I see you guys are finally getting some rain)

Will DJI have some SDK programs that will be able to allow us to use the 4G-LTE? The way I read this feature, it sounds like it will be up to third party programming to make this work?

I am still considering the I2 just like Donnie and waiting for funding

Do you think that DJI will offer a larger battery (TB50) to extend flight time beyond 25 minutes? The mount would allow slightly larger batteries to fit into the slots and handle the weight.

Ed, have a question on the new camera (X5S) does it have an SD card as well?
I like to take photos and don't care so much about video so my question would be:  do I have to buy the SSD drives or can I just shoot RAW DNG files straight to the SD card like on the X5?

yes it does have an sd card slot but not on the camera, it is on the aircraft itself,
