Hi guy,

is it possible to implement a possibility to save RAW Photo to the SSD card?
It would save pictures much faster. I have Sandisk Exteme Pro 64GB cards - one of the fastest on the market. But when I shoot RAW AEB5 I can shoot only pics like 3 times, then I have lag of saving it to the SD card.

I'm kinda sure it would be faster, if the raw photos would be saved on the SSD and the current configuration does not allow it due to firmware implementation.

Also does the I2 has the possibility to save raw pictures to the SSD?

Thanks

Csaba

I think you can. The specs say something about you can increase the FPS to 20fps with the SSD

Sorry Csaba, it's not available to save the raw pictures to the SSD.
And the controller for Inspire 1 is incompatible with Inspire 2. They are not exchangeable.

I understand that its not possible now. But is it doable with future firmware upgrade (I1 with X5R) to set the folder to SSD? Or the technological implementation of the camera and SSD wont allow it?

For the I2, Is it possible for the I2? If not, will there be a possibility for the future?

I'm not sure about that. If we have any update, you will know that. Thanks.
