The same thing happened to me...I placed an order for a P4P+ and added 2 extra batteries, and expected shipment 1-3 days per estimated shipping time on the website. After I paid and was awaiting notification of shipment, I contacted DJI chat to try and change my email address on my account, and I at that time I found out that my order would be shipped in 3-5 weeks because extra batteries take that long!
Well, of course if I knew that, I certainly would have ordered the batteries separately.....but why would I assume that? After all, batteries are offered along with other accessories right when I place the drone on the shopping cart.
Anyway, after much discussion via online chat, my order has been split.....and they said they will ship the drone ahead of the extra batteries. Although I didn't get a very confident feeling, as it took quote a while of back & forth discussion to get a firm answer. Plus they say they have no idea when it will ship.
If any of the fine members of the DJI team would be willing to let me know when my drone will ship, I sure would appreciate it - my order number is 0016868960723.
