Hi folks,

I don't know if I am going slightly blind to the obvious, but can anyone tell me if it is possible to turn the Mavic arm LEDS off (the red ones)?  I can find the setting in the camera to turn them off whilst taking a picture, but not a setting to turn them off all the time.  Anyone know if this is possible?  I'm on the Android version of DJI Go 4, and latest Mavic firmware.

Ta!

Enter settings, choose the top icon 'Main Controller Settings', scroll to the bottom, Advanced Settings, scroll to the bottom, Turn on Front LEDs
(I assume this is switched on when connected to the mavic and turning it off will switch them off. (I'm not connected to mine just now but can see the setting)).

I just flew mine over the weekend for the first time. The front leds automatically go off when video recording is switched on. Initially I thought they were faulty until I realised what was happening. Don't know if this is of help to you.

Well that's where I thought the setting used to be in the original DJI Go App.  I've just double checked (although not connected to my Mavic), and the setting is not there anymore.  Hmm, maybe I need to check with it connected...

@mullheliflier yes, I've got the setting to do this in the camera settings.  There used to be a setting to turn the arm LED's off all the time though, and it's that I'm after...

I couldn't find it either when I thought the lights were faulty. Maybe they have removed the option and made it automatic now.

Andy

It's there for me. I'm using the latest DJI GO 4 version which was released today with German Localisation improvements.

Here is the option:

For Android device, please enter remote controller settings. You can set turn off/on front LEDs in C1/C2 button.

Ah, got it thanks.

Do you know if the ability to turn them on and off, without assigning it to the C1 or C2 button, will come back in future versions of the DJI Go App?  I normally have C1 as my centre focus button, and C2 as my battery info button (same as my P4 and inspires!).

Cheers

I'm not sure about that, Andy.
But I'll pass your suggestion to our related team.
Thank you for supporting DJI.
