    DJI Care Refresh now covers accidental water damage! From now on, if your aircraft suffers from water damage sustained during normal use and you have DJI Care Refresh, your aircraft can be replaced twice, at an additional service charge each time! Just give us a call, if we have phone service in your area, or email djicare@dji.com to request a replacement.

    Prior to this announcement, if you purchased DJI Care Refresh but could not replace the aircraft due to water damage or had to pay an additional charge, call us or send a refund request to djicare@dji.com. Refund requests will be processed in around three to five days.

It's retroactive, so if you had to had to pay for a replacement under DJI Care Refresh (not DJI Care, just DJI Care Refresh) because your product was water damaged, we will reimburse you.

Wow, this really sucks. After ordering mavic pro 1st October WITH care plan I cancelled it end November after too much wait from DJI's promise
. Now got it thru local dealer the other day and didn't wanted the care plan because of lack of water damage. After 48 hours it is too late to add this. Thanks again DJI.
I've had mine 5 days now.  In Australia. Is it too late to add the care or what? Can send in logs or whatever to show my mavic is in perfect condition.

Can I also do it for DJI Care Refresh for Mavic? It only says
"2.        Only submit verification videos of products eligible for DJI Care. These currently include the Inspire 1 Raw, Inspire 1 Pro, Inspire 1 V2.0 (with X3 gimbal camera), Phantom 4, Phantom 3 Professional, Phantom 3 Advanced, Phantom 3 Standard and Phantom 3 4K. Videos of products not eligible for DJI Care will not pass video verification."

Can I still register for DJI Care Refresh for Mavic using this method?

You say you replace the aircraft free of charge, yet in your FAQ it says you have to pay for the replacements, which is true?

In the UK:
For DJI Care Refresh (Mavic Pro), the first time replacement fee is£79, the second time replacement fee is £129.
For DJI Care Refresh (Inspire 2), the first time replacement fee is £219, the second time replacement fee is £339.
For DJI Care Refresh (X4S), the first time replacement fee is £49, the second time replacement fee is £79.
For DJI Care Refresh (X5S), the first time replacement fee is £159, the second time replacement fee is £239.
For DJI Care Refresh (Phantom 4 Pro), the first time replacement fee is £129, the second time replacement fee is £189.

Does refresh work like insurance? i.e. If I accidentally crash my Mavic into a brick wall at 40mph will DJI Refresh replace it with a new/repaired one? Same, if I have a handling error and it ends up lading in the sea. Will it be replaced or repaired without additional fee?

If not, that what does refresh actually do?

That was a a mistake, you still need to pay the additional service charge. We've edited the post.

Come on Guys !  if you made a mistake purchasing from a third party and now you regret that is NOT the fault of DJI !  I have purchased TWO MAVIC PRO ,  Basic ordered Sept 27 Delivered Oct 8th !  YA  !  Then ordered COMBO and received exactly 8 weeks later !  DJI IS AWESOME  !  Also purchased P4P Plus and received in TWO WEEKS !  YA !  THANK YOU DJI  ! YOU ARE AWESOME...HAPPY HOLIDAYS !  Now, when can we purchase the GOGGLES and the CrystalSky ??

Yes, anyone who has DJI care refresh, not DJI care, is now covered for water damage. Whether you have already purchased care refresh, already crashed in the water and paid for replacement at full amount and have care refresh, or are going to purchase care refresh.

If you have a Mavic, you purchased DJI care refresh, DJI care is not available for the Mavic. They are two separate programs. So if you purchased DJI care refresh 2 weeks ago for your Mavic , then yes, you are covered.

Yes, it is a bit confusing as the names are similar, but the programs are similar. It seems that DJI is using DJI care refresh now on for their new products, but as they still sell their older models they need to keep DJI care program running. Take the time to read the service agreement of the Care Refresh program you purchased for your Mavic and compare to DJI care and you will understand what is covered and why they call it Care Refresh.

dji care is a repair service, dji care refresh is a replacement service. You can not choose one or the other, it depends what DJI product you have that determines the service plan that is available to purchase. For example if you have a mavic the only choice is Care Refresh, if you have a Phantom 4 DJI Care is the option.
