After such a crappy year, I wanted to end it with something peaceful and beautiful so the last 2 mornings I went and flew with the hot air balloons in Napa Valley California.

I was very careful to not fly too close to them or be in front of them. I dont imagine they love drones, but like everything if you are respectful and careful there shouldnt be an issues.

That is a good attitude. I did notice that you gave plenty os space. The Balloons are considered an Aircraft as well and they would have the right of way. Best to keep your distance. The video was nice in any event.

no secret with my settings. I use color style none. Everything is zero'ed out.
Filter that day was a ND 8 and then I processed through Resolve.

Are you using the X5R or the X5?
If its the X5, then I understand your image falling apart but with the dynamic range of the X5R - you shouldn't be having a problem. Also what exactly do you mean by 'falling apart'?
