I am two versions behind on firmware on my P3P. I'm currently at 1.8 on the Pro, RC at 1.6 and app at 2.7.1.

If I upgrade, can I go from 1.8 to 1.10 or do I have to do 1.8 - 1.9 - 1.10?

I am not having any problems with my P3P. I have read on this forum lots of complains about people having issues after upgrading their firmware but would like to know the consent of successful upgrades.

I am running 1.9.60 on P3A......RC on 1.6 and go app v3 or Litchi.....and not updating anything as it all works fine. If you update the phantom  to 1.10.90 and you have problems you cannot roll back to a previous version. The only reason I still use go app V3 is because it still uses google maps not here maps that are outdated and useless. Update bird to 1.9.60 and  leave the RC on 1.6...up to you what Version of go app you want!! When you start the bird up and the go app you will see an FIRMWARE UPDATE AVAILABLE at the top of the go app....ignore it as it disappears in 5 seconds and fly and have fun.

Hello msoto, you could update the firmware to latest version directly. And it's not available to downgrade if your upgrade to 1.10.90.

You mentioned you are using GO app v3, is that 3.0.1?

I;m like others,. I just disregard the Updates avialable notices as my bird flies just perfectly, I haven't updated since I started flying, about 3 months ago. Once I read there are no issues with latest firmware, then I may update to latest firmware.
I fly in 3 areas, always within about 100 miles of each other, so once I got a good/solid calibration, I like others, see no reason to calibrate unless I get a "must calibrate" warning which I have never got.
My last calibration was also, about 3-4 moths ago & my P3A flies perfectly, touch wood!!
