Thought you might like to see a video I shot in one of Iceland's mesmerising canyons. Temp was about -5c but the P3P handled it fine.

Phew!  Not the sort of place you'd want to have a battery failure!

Spectacular scenery with nice smooth transitions, pans and pedestal moves that blended so well with the music.  Great video!

Wow, that was gorgeous. Such an unusual place to visit and fly your drone. Fantastic.

I wish I could visit there someday. ;-)

You made it look easy, & thanks for the tour.

Cheers mate. Was certainly a bit of challenge flying, the wind was reasonably light but gusting and swirling in the canyon. Was great fun though.

What sort of place would you want to have a battery failure?

Joke aside, I have given up on the idea of flying in places that are safe for the drone. If my drone falls in the middle of a raging freezing river. That's a safe place. There is no chance I am going to risk my life to save that drone. The really dangerous place is on the side of a snowy hill two miles away. I would probably have to go after that one.

Go back on a clear calm day, and really capture some spectacular footage. Hahaha

There may always be a breeze flowing through that area... ;-)

Thanks, have fun flying with the p4, although I wouldn't recommend doing this sort of thing until you have at least a few hours of flying under your belt

Looks fantastic mate.  I'm heading to Iceland myself this weekend.  Weather looks rubbish but we'll see how it turns out.  I still don't know how you guys get the camera so smooth when panning.  Are you using waypoints at all?

Have a great time, there's a saying in Iceland, if you don't like the weather, just wait 15 minutes. This was shot in December and it had been snowing, raining Ice, with gusting  winds of 50-70km an hour, and then one morning it was calm and clear, it only last an hour or so but was enough to get some flying in.

This was all flown and shot in complete manual mode, no way points, POI or anything else.

Cheers
