Thanks for the video.  I think the terrain following mode would be even better if it would follow the terrain downslope.

This has been available on the P4 in 'Active Track' mode with the release of firmware 1.1.410 at the end of May last year.

Sorry You were spot on, i fixed the link. Now it seems like you are crazy haha but you did nothing wrong but save my bacon!

Aardvark that is true. escaped my mind. Tap fly you can still manually input joysticks plus you get to set speed, so this mode is really quite limited

Thanks for the video.  I think the terrain following mode would be even better if it would follow the terrain downslope.

I just discovered that, when you've enabled Terrain Follow mode and pressed start, it follows terrain uphill and down.  The trick is to pull the left stick all the way down (descend) and the bird will follow the down slope.  I repeated it a dozen or so times to confirm.

I haven't experimented with my P4P too much, but when tracking will it follow you up a hill as well?

Uphill is what it's designed for. The person a couple posts up is the first person I have known that says it works going downhill.

If it works in downhill mode then it becomes REALLY useful for downhill sports, such as skiing, snowboarding, biking, etc...

I definitely need to start working with some of these modes...
