Few months ago I started to make a spherical panoramas using Phantom 3 Pro. It was meant to be just one-time experiment, but became my small passion It's just a hobby, but last time I realised that P3Pro is a limiting factor. Wide lens, noisy and blurry camera. Last Christmas I decided to give myself a christmas gift and bought Phantom 4 Pro+. I wondered how much it will be better than my old P3Pro... Now I know that P4Pro is a vast improvement over P3Pro. You can see a spherical panorama made with Phantom 4 Pro and compare to ohter panoramas made in 2016 with P3Pro. Enjoy!

That P4 Pro camera is amazeballs. How big is the image when stitched? And how did you 'fake the sky'
Once again, beautiful work.
Thank you guys! After stitching image is ~22 000 x 11 000 pixels. I plan to create a movie how to add "fake" sky, please stay tuned.

Why was there need to fake the sky?
What would the sky be like if it wasn't faked?
Thanks
Eric,
Because the drone can't look up to capture images of the sky, so to get a full 360° spherical image the sky has to be faked. Some people use an ordinary camera on the day of flight to to capture a straight up image of the sky to get a better match. Otherwise it can be cloned in from exisiting sky in images or find one online that can be blended.
If you don't add one you will end up with missing information that will show up as whatever the background colour is of the stitching program, usually black in my experience.
