Hio All,
I finally got the Mavic Pro over the holiday break and was able to shoot some footage of Big Bear Lake near the cabin in Big Bear, California! Most of the time, it was below freezing temperatures, so I could only fly 10-15 mins at a time before my fingers froze off. The batteries on the Mavic did well under cold conditions and at this elevation! It was a joy flying this, and it was great to have such precision in the movements via fine finger movements and cinematic mode.

looks awesome. was hoping that lake would be a little more fuller with all this rain we got.

How do you fly at the 6:42 time? I like the arc flight path but have not been successful in doing it smoothly,

Thanks! Are you a local there? I just got a cabin there in October...been loving going up there every chance I have! Yeah, water levels are low hopefully more rain/snow this season.  Three days of snow incoming this week!

After lots of experimenting, I got the hang of slow camera moves with slight finger movements. I had my right finger move forward at a slight angle while at the same time while having my left hand pivot to a house focal point on the left.

Nice video, I got married up there but it's been a while since I've been there. Liked hanging at chads place and just enjoying everything there. Such a great place, thanks for sharing.

Beautiful place to get married! My husband and I just got a cabin up there in October 2016 and so we try to come up here as often as possible. Love the four full seasons here, a rarity in SoCal west coast

Chad's place was a fun place, at the end of the bar hop for us (so many great food/bars out in The Village!).

Yes it hardly snows in California too, that's why we escape to Big Bear for winter (only 2 hours from LA/OC fortunately).  Glad you enjoyed it, I loved seeing the snow and wanted to share it here too.

Its been many years for me and in the summer time. Last year I was out in the Mojave, China Lake for the NWR area... rather be at Bear Lake!

Sometimes it will not show up on a mobile device,if it won't show switch to PC version and it will work.

Thx Jamie, it's good ol Times New Roman font!  Sometimes it's best to keep it simple.

Thanks Jit! No filters on these, just on None color mode, -1 on sharpness/contrast and then manually exposed the shots to under expose slightly to minimize the highlight clipping.
