The mount should be plastic. I'm thinking the filter part is plastic or glass?

Have seen the filter minutes ago. They are different from all the filters on the market yet.

Also they look very light.

It would be great if someone from DJI could post the little user guide that comes with the filters, or maybe screen shot the pertinent parts

Well, those are interesting.

Definitely a different design than everyone else.  My PolarPro Cinema Series filters are "Out for delivery" and include some options that the DJI filters don't (CP filters) but I'd be happy to compare the two if anyone local has or gets a set.  As long as they don't fall off (doubtful, since DJI designed the camera/gimbal setup) and as long as the "glass" is neutral and of good quality, they should be great filters!

Nice price too!

I'm assuming you are referring to installation/removal.  I would agree... what is DJI's preferred method for installing a removing so as not to damage the gimbal.

As for use:  If anyone has questions about that, just Google "neutral density filter use".  The results apply universally to cameras, drones, etc.

Yep, I was referring to the contents of the little user guide that's shown in the second photo on the DJI store.  I'm assuming it at least covers installation method and was wondering if there's any other useful information in there...

My Polar Pro Cinema Series just arrived yesterday, but we've got clouds and rain.  I'm looking forward to seeing how they work!  Also curious to hear how the fit mechanism for the DJI version works.

I'm going to go against the grain here.  At £11 each, these are cheap and cheerful and if the quality reflects this low price, there is no way I'm going to buy.

Why put a crap piece of plastic in front of "decent" lens glass?  It will degrade the image quality for sure.  Sorry, not for me

@Nigpd Where do you take from that the lenses are made of cheap plastic instead of glass?

I almost pulled the trigger on these and hit the 'back button' when I saw the word 'plastic' in this thread...

Would love to know for sure.  I'd be amazed if they were plastic though.

Only Nigpd said that these were made of plastic. I doubt that. DJI knows how to develop cameras. I think they know what they are doing when it comes to filters, too.

I already was about to order these as the shop said "free shipping". This free shipping then turned out to be around 20€, so I will probably wait until local retailers offer these filters.

That's steep!  $10 shipping in US.  I mean, what do they weigh?  A gram each?  {:4_177:}

That's the Standard shipping charge. You need to factor in paying an employee / shipping fees / ect.

Also incentive to get you to spend over $89. If you spent another $54 you would of saved $10.

I just got some Freewell ND/PL filters. I like the way these  DJI ones are designed, I think the little tabs designed to slip into the groove on the lens makes much more sense. I'll wait to see some reviews.

With there 3 plastic little leg. I'm afraid it will fall off too.

I just ask DJI Online CS they said: "sorry we are not sure ,just know it a kind of Composite Material"
Seems not a glass filter. The image quality maybe drop a lot.

My concern will be removing and installing - fingerprint heaven and accidently dropping them. Last thing you want is an ND filter with finger prints deteriorating the video quality.

You have to buy the three set first. Than after they have sold enough they will put in store the 6 packs. So again you buy also the 6 packs

Anyone get these? My MP was sent for repairs with gimbal issues within 3 days of arriving, so I was curious to know about its installation and material. Dont want to mess up the gimbal again i.e. whenever the mavic is returned back from repair.

One of the Mod's confirmed on another thread that these are Glass. Im also interested to see if any one receive them yet, Im about to order another battery so I was going to add the filters so I can get them shipped for free.
