Hi ,
I got my new Mavic drone yesterday, I follow all the steps to calibrate the Front and Bottom sensors via DJI Assistant 2,it`s smooth during the calibration but I have no idea that it must stop at 85% and no response....I have tried many times but refused.did any one of you ever meet this?

Could you please clairfy your current firmware version and what's the system version of your computer? Mac or Windows?
Have you tried to reset factory defaults and do the calibration again?

Assistant 2 is trash when it comes to calibration of vision sensors .. I have been on this for three weeks and hundreds of hours .. finally yesterday DJI has asked for the bird to be returned.. don't waste your time with A2 calibration as I did. I was never able to complete calibration since the day I got the Mavic. What I fear is that the new Inspire 2 is also totally dependent on the Assistant 2 software and mine should arrive within the week.. not sure I will even open the box!!

So that means A2 can't do the sensor calibration or it's our Mavic`s problem?

Yeah thier programmers always have bugs in the software. It's good software usually but can never write a perfect piece, it's weird.

I think that's what happened to that moon rover!

I use that Easeus software (Chinese) for backup (Don't ask me why, I like to fly by the seat of my pants) and it can't restore from nas, only local. I found one backup didn't even restore right lol But far as live backup times, the software is the fastest out. They should hire some people from silicon valley to write it. They have the money, I'm sure they'd make it all back in sales.

I posted a similar concern a while back after no response from my email to support. Stops at 85%, firmware current, latest A2, Windows 10, tried it all. I'm hoping someone comes on with an answer.

DJI Support indicate to use Windows 7. Seems to have a compatibility issue with Windows 10. That said we are in 2017 and I dont have Windows 10 and almost crashed my Mavic due to positioning issues in Atti mode.
DJI - PLEASE FIX ASAP!!!

Same problem here:
Win 7, firmware update successful, calibration stuck at 85%
Mac OS 10.6.8, assistant won't even launch.

I have to say, not too impressive.

Can somebody tell how to calibrate (with which software, which version,...) I refuse to believe that EUR1500 device cannot be calibrated. DJI?

SOLVED:

Found version 1.0.7 from https://dl.djicdn.com/downloads/ ... istant+2+1.0.7.exe.
Calibration stopped again at 85% but now with a pop-up saying smg like "display size calculation failed (25,84573480573408), please input correct display size and recalibrate". After inputting correct number (24) and recalibrating, voila.

DJI, some effort please!

Received the mavic about 1 week ago, had to do a update.
Wanted to calibrate IMU, did succeed but cannot calibrate the camera (is stuck in the process of calibrating and gives error message).
Also cannot calibrate the RC, is asking to restart the AC and then nothing happens.
After this I did stop trying and do not want to fly in this situation, waiting for some decent functional software so I can fly the Mavic with confidence .

Why did you calibrate the sensors? Did the RC prompt you to do the full A2 calibration?

I should be receiving my Mav soon and was curious if this was something you decided to do or it is a requirement.
Thanks

What version of DJI Assist are you using? And can you confirm your firmware version? TY

I've tried the following:
- Roll back firmware to previous version
- Roll back DJI Assist2 to version DJI+Assistant+2+1.0.7.exe
- Upgrade firmware back to new version
- Factory reset
- Upgrade DJI Assist2 to version 1.09
All failed.... The furthest I was able to get to was using the latest firmware with version 1.09 of DJIAssist2, the calibration steps completed, but the system hangs at the calculating step at 85%. Calibration info collected. Start Calibration now. Please Wait....apparently it's only supposed to take a minute....it just sits there.

Battery was 100%, using Windows 10 and running DJIAssist in admin mode....

Please help

ok, this is a little embarrassing...ensure that the stickers covering the sensors have been removed. I was so eager to get my drone going, that I overlooked the stickers. Once removed, 100% calibration success!

I have spent all week trying to figure out why this gets stuck at 85%.

Finely got it to work.. Pulled the little sticker off the sensor and it calibrated at a 100%

Thanks for the tip .

I just spent over an hour with tech support after trying 5+ times to calibrate only to have it fail.  I was waiting for the information to come in for the return when I decided to check the forum.  I am also too blind to see that little sticker.  Maybe they should make the sticker bright yellow.

I got the same problem with my new Mavic. After Calibration it stopped at 71%. I've have tried it 4 times, the stickers were removed... then I changed my computer screen and it worked! Maybe there is an issue with some computer screens??
