Hello Mavic community,

This morning an instagram user by the name of dji_mavic_pro started following me and claims is looking for Mavic Pro testers and if they follow you, they choose-you for a free Mavic pro to test.

I followed them back and they sent me this link www.testdji.us

is this legit or scam DJI ? please comment and if so please report them.

The  dude who registered the address and appears as the technical contact for the domain name 'testdji.us' listed a back-of-an-alley address in Melbourne, Australia.  I stand to be corrected, but I'd be surprised if this is legit, and this is how DJI registers domain names.  By comparison, DJI registered 'dji.com' through a registration proxy, PerfectPrivacy LLC, so this other address isn't consistent with their approach in registering domain names.  Caution urged....

Oh sh*t I just checked my spam folder and found the same email!!!!! But i got the email 28days ago  .... Do you still think he will send me the drone if i send him my delivery address?

I don't know. It is worth a try, just email him, he replied very quickly to me

i think its a scam they add me every week its annoying and if im constantly added by similar names thats too fishy to me

Please do not give out your home address. If you really think there is a free done for you then give them a business address of where one of your friends works at who is buddies with the receiving department or receptionist to see if one really shows up in the mail. Even if it is real, I still would not give out your home address.

100% for sure.

I received one of those tags on Instagram, too. I went to the web address and noticed misspelled words on the page. I also noticed that they described what information that they wanted from testers. Seems to be that DJI would have been far down that road and with enough users could capture any of that information. Also, the site doesn't match the other DJI pages "look."  
So, it's a scam, I'm quite certain.

Ok glad my post is helping people. Beware of this guys.
