I have never owner or operated an Apple phone or tablet before, but I am thinking of getting an Apple tablet for use with my P3S.  I see one listed on craigslist and it says it has 16GB.  Is that enough for use solely for my P3S, or does it need to have more RAM?  Doesn't have cellular, which I know it doesn't need, so I'm good with that.  Just curious about the RAM requirements.  Checking on version of iOS.  Hopefully it has the required 8.0 or later.

My Android tablet has 16Gb and I have experienced no issues. I think you will be fine.

Since your asking about the Mini Tablet and not the Android I think I can set you straight. I have a iPad Mini 2 with 16GB and no cellular. My version of the Go app is 3.0.2 and the iPad version is 9.3.5. Mine works great with the P3S so I got another one for my Mavic. Hope this helps you.

Thank you.  Yes, that is what I was wanting to know.  Looking at picking it up with keyboard (which I don't want or need) for $160.  Does that sound like a pretty decent price for a used one?

I'm not familiar with the iPad Mini 3 so I can't really say if it's a good price. I bought my first iPad Mini 2 new for $269, the second one was a Christmas sale at Wal-Mart for $199.

Other than a different operating system, it doesn't seem to be any different than my Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.7, which is the exact same size as the iPad Mini 3.  Unfortunately the Tab 7.7 isn't on the approved list, and couldn't even download the app to the Galaxy Tab 7.7 from the Play store.    Now I need to get a tablet mount and modify my controller for it.
