The new update is horrible, can I get a link for version 1.7.90 , I'll do it by flashdrive if need be.

app 3.1.0   version 1.7.90  is what I had before update
Lost 1000ft of distance an the screen seems to need me to stop so it can catch up

You mean the RC signal or image transmission will lose once it reaches to about 1000 feet?
Have you tried different open places and fly it farther firstly then higher?
Please adjust the antenna during the flight.

Actually I lost 1000ft+, I had 3200ft repeatable in 2 locations, now I've managed 2200 once  with antenna adjustments and lag on the vid, with 1600 being my average now. Id really like to go back to 1.7.90 and yes I recalibrated everything.

I forgot to mention I go straight to 400ft. I'm bordering farms and ranches.

Thank You for looking at this. I've re-loaded 1.7.9 with SD card through the camera. Ill wait till next patch reviews before updating again

After downgrading it to 1.7.9, the performance is much better again, right?

Actually no, the app isn't 1.1.0 even though ver reads 1.7.9 .
An the aggravation is just making me tired. Ive spent too much
time an money not to accept the 1/2 performance I'm getting now.
I am wondering why updates are "REQUIRED" complete with nag screens.

Please try another mobile device in DJI recommended list, and you can link your friend's remote to your aircraft then check the performance if possible, thank you.
