I have the original Osmo and just ordered ordered the gimbal extender cable.  With this configuration has anybody figured out how to mount the phone centered on the handle to balance the weight?


SOLUTION:  Generic Mobile Phone Holder, GoPro Mounts & double sided foam tape.

I tried it with the supplied attachments by moving the phone to in front of the handle (between the handle and your body) which balanced it, but then I couldn't get my fingers to use the buttons. Went back to having the phone hang out the side off balance. It would need a completely redesigned attachment or a myriad of add-ons to do it properly which just adds more weight.  

I tried something similar and it didn't work for me either.  It would be nice if DJI developed to Gimbal Extension Cable with a Rosette on top of the handle end like they did on the camera end bottom and a new mount that would be center.
