I just got my Inspire 2 and I thought there was a flight simulator mode to practice with.  If so, how do I access it?

You should see a menu on the top right of the Equipment page. Select that and go to the Academy section, you will see the simulator option from there.

Thanks for getting back to me.  I only see three things when I go into the academy: Tutorials for beginners (three videos) Flight Tutorials and user manuals.  No Simulator.  Am I looking in the right spot?

tv510, the "ACADEMY" section looks like a graduation cap, click on that, that should get you there. Ken

I found the academy but not the simulator.  I don't see it listed anywhere for the Inspire 2.

Can you clarify which Go 4 app version you're using?

I have DJI GO 4.0.2 (IOS Latest) and i cant find the simulator either. AND yes the drone is connected as i can see the video feed !!

I have an Inspire 1 and have used the simulator there but i cant find in Inspire 2

x2... not on the most current DJI go 4 app (ios). looked it over, no where to be found.

Another 'Coming soon' from DJI?

Yes I'm sure I read somewhere this simulator function was being updated for the new flight characteristics of the Inspire 2 over the Inspire 1. I'm surprised it's taking this long though, I would've spent hours using it before taking my first flight if it had been available. So far no accidents though....
It's probably a limited pool of developers and they're all being told to work on the DJI Go 4 app.

Oh, I'm using Samsung Galaxy S2 (SM-T813) Android 6.0.1 and DJI Go 4 app version 4.01

After further digging, unfortunately the simulator option is not available on the Go 4 app for the Inspire 2. The Assistant 2 software does provide a simulatior option as well, have you checked there for this alternative?

I've installed the DJI Assistant (v1.09) program on my Windows 10 64bit system. Connecting the RC to computer gives no response. If you connect the Inspire 2 to computer it appears in list of connected devices and you can access the functions I've listed below but there is no flight simulator I can see.

The simulator don't appears in DJI Go App from the first day... in DJI Assitant neither.

There is a simulator in DJI Assistant but its to replay flight data on a graphical layout. In fact its very difficult to use as not been translated from chinese correctly

Hello.

How can I view the simulator video in first person (FPV) ? (now it show the drone in third person on the assisnant).
Viewing it on DJI Assistant would be great.  Viewing it on my smartphone with DJI GO would also be nice.

Now my smartphone's DJI GO is showing a true real-time video from my drone's camera.
