Doesn't look like the 4 Pro is supported by DroneDeploy, Altizure, Pix4D yet.  Anyone know of any appications that have caught up?

DroneDeploy has brought out a P4pro version for users of Apple devices and the Android version should be available soon.

I am an android guy also..... But finally I got a used ipad mini 2 so to be able to use DJI GS pro app. This way my warranty is valid (as 3rd party software is not covered).
I have tested it and works great (Orthophoto maps and 3d modeling). You can always use drone deploy to upload photos and have them processed by them.

That's just a forum myth.
The use of 3rd party software doesn't void your warranty.
If you can show there was a problem with the Phantom DJI will cover it.

Picked up an iPad Air 2 today, all my problems seems to be solved.  Other than paying the bill at the end of the month. :-)

If I were you, before you pay your bill open the IPAD and play with the APP...and you will feel a lot better

Yes you are wright, but using Dji's software and flying in nice weather conditions, I am covered almost 100%. (warranty + DJI care refresh). And of course I have a GPS tracker on it, just to be sure that will be found in case of an accident.

yes but which App do you use to take the pictures on a grid for instance? As far as I know, DJI App can't handle that (to fly on a specific route/grid taking an image every X seconds)

DroneDeploy is a good one that does all that for you.
Several others do as well.

DroneDeploy have a really good Facebook help page two very progressive guys and extremely helpful, particularly to those getting started.

I would recommend the Pix4D, it worked to plan a mission and fly over a area. I also download the Drone Deploy, but I couldn't do the automatic flight. I only use to convert and process image in Drone Deploy. Android app using.
