I'm continuing to get a battery signal error while running the latest P4 software (1.02.0602) on 2 of my 3 brand new batteries that were included in a kit.

I can however make all three batteries work running the previous firmware of 1.02.0503. Anyone had this issue? Any good resolutions?

There are quite a few people with this problem ,me being one of them ,there are numerous posts on this forum about it but not much info from DJI about what is happening about it ,just run on the .503 firmware and hopefully it will be rectified in the next update

I have the same problem with 1 battery out of 5, you have to downgrade the firmware on the battery to 1.02.0503 and it will work.

Please try to downgrade the aircraft, the battery should be working fine.
Besides, we'are aware of this case and working on it now, will let you know once we get any news, thanks for your supporting again!

I can't downgrade to previous version, because DJI assistant 2 not show the previous version, why?

If you purchased it from DJI directly or a local authorized dealer, then please feel free to send an e-mail to support@dji.com with your battery SN and purchase proof, our tech support will help you take care of the case.

I've had this similar problem, and contacted customer support.  They said since it's out of the 6 month warranty period, they will not cover the battery.  I've even mentioned this forum and screen-shotted your post about contacting them for a fix.   What gives?  How can I resolve this and restore my battery that was comprised during this failed upgrade?

I had the same problem. My battery was about 5 days out of warranty. They refused to help me  I kept asking them to escalate the ticket. After 2 months of back and forth they finally replaced the battery

That's good to hear quadpop as after not flying over the winter I upgraded and also have a sudden battery issue!

I am having exactly the same issue. After the update to 1.02.0602, my battery, which has been working flawlessly, is now giving me an error. I know the firmware downgrade would solve the problem, but it is not available for download anymore in the DJI assistant app. Does anybody have a solution, other than shipping the battery halfway across the world? My battery is now nearly one year old and technically out of warranty, so at this point, the DJI firmware update literally cost me a full battery - very frustrating.

Me to again. Down to one battery and on top of that one is cracking on the back.
