I have Naza N3 and want to connect GPS and iOSD Mini. The CAN Bus port on PMU is not fit for iOSD Mini so I try to connect OSD to the CAN port on the GPS cable.
After connecting the iOSD Mini, GPS show disconnected and voltage show 0.1 V at DJI Assitant 2.

the specsheet of the n3 says it supports the iosd mini
so is this firmware update coming soon or is this the way Dji treats their customers?
It's a longer process to create firmware on older products to support newer hardware. I'll see if there is an ETA available. Please keep in mind that it did take a while for the iOSD Mini to support the A3.
I did get clarification that the latest iOSD update do support compatibility with both the A3 and N3. As long as everything is updated, everything would work together as long as you followed the connection guidelines in the N3 manual.
I am trying to set up the iOSD mini with my N3. I do not see a connection guide anywhere in the N3 manual. Where do I find the connection info? Thanks.

The connection guide is actually in the iOSD mini/Mark ii release notes in the DJI download section for the iOSD.

The iOSD Mini has not had the necessary firmware update in order to work with the N3. It is currently compatible with the A3.
.. i double and tripple checks the dji website and it says the mini is supported .. so now i have another paperweight. thanks alot DJI
I can't get the iosdmini to work.I read the post 295 there Tseaver did not get it to work.I also get the same results.
So I read the latest relase note(2016 12 13) regarding iosd mini and there it is written:
"Added support for the DJI A3 flight controller firmware v1.3.0.0 or above.
Added support for the DJI N3 flight controller firmware v1.0.0.90 or above.
Notes!Be sure to use the latest version of iOSD Assistant software (v4.1) to upgrade the firmware.
For the DJI A3/N3 flight controller Use a CAN -Gimbal cable to connect the iOSD mini to any of the CAN1 ports on the A3/N3 flight controller."
I have upgrade N3 fc to the latest firmware 1.7.0.0 and use assistance v2 version 1.09-2
So I did the update in iosd assitance v4.1. When I click the update button a screen appear said that v3.03 should install supported A3/N3 fc
but when it did the update it start to install 4.00 not v3.03 or 4.01
After that the iosd min start to flash green it did not work after power cycling(disconnect batt&usb) and I could only use the upgrade screen in
iosd assitance v4.1.so I contacted dji support and they said I had too downgrade it They described how I should do
I did the process and it down grade it too firmware V1.05 if I remember correct..
So now it just do not work. Have anyone else managed to get it work?
