I just got this message pop up when i started my Mavic it also said I should use DJI GO 4.

Thing is, I downloaded DJI Go 4 previously and had some scetchy situations.  It would lose connection and go into return to home mode a couple of times.

So I went back to DJI GO no issues since.

My question is has anyone else got this message?  Also, what does it mean?

Got the message too, have the same problem with DJI GO 4 on both my Sammy Note 4 and Xperia Y Ultra. DJI GO 4 crashes EVERY TIME ! Methinks there will be no further updates to GO 3 but will be still functional. HOPEFULLY !!!! (Syncing flight records etc.) If not I WILL BE VERY VERY ANGRY. DJI GO 4 is sloppy programming.

I use djiGo 3.0.1 and love it.  Google maps are still there and app works great.

This  is concerning. Has anyone looked at the reviews on Google play for the dji go 4 App? I don't know if i've ever seen any app with worse reviews.  Everyone has the same issues and frankly it  seems rather dangerous to me to see so many people losing connectivity with their aircraft. I hope this gets sorted  out  soon with an update to the go 4 app  

Like I told DJI-Ken this is going to ground a number of drones.  My Samsung tab 4 7" will not be usable.  If someone else that has this tablet and can get it to work, could you please post up your settings.  http://forum.dji.com/forum.php?m ... mp;page=1#pid661698

I also still use the older DJI Go app. The new app has a lot of stability issues even on "approved" devices. Just look at those google play reviews, widespread 1-star reviews. At least fix the damn thing before you force us to use it.

strange i must be the only person with no problems with it on my note 4. i use my note 4 over my nexus 5x cause i have the crashing problem with the 5x

A percentage have problems, not all.

Otherwise the 4 would have been shelved by DJI if it was a complete failure.

The vocal minority should not form the consensus, but obviously there are problems with 4.

I plan on staying on the 3 forever. Which is until Maviv V2 is released hehe

So is the problem running both versions of DJI GO 3 & 4 on the same device? It's hard to say from the reviews, but there seems to be a trend of those that run DJIGO 4 only on a device appear to be having fewer problems than those of us who want to run 4 but also keep 3. Has anyone successfully run DJI GO4 with DJI GO 3 installed on the same device?

I used to use DJI Go 3.0.1 specifically for Google Maps, but found that the short cut buttons, C1, C2 and the 5 way button on the RC no longer works with the new firmware that was updated on 26 Dec 2016...

Doesn't help that they removed Art mode from DJI Go 4.  BRING IT BACK!
