Close.  I'm trying to figure out why it didn't post.  Sorry....  I posted it from the app and it hung for 10 minutes.....

I didn't know I couldn't upload an mov file.. Makes sense since it'll require a ton a storage if everyone uploaded their movie....  Here's a link to a longer, higher res verision....

This was my 3rd day of flying and I've never owned a drone or any other RC flyer....

The video does not look like it was taken in the official Everglades.  You can see houses in many of the shots (there are no houses in the Everglades).  However, there are many parts in South Florida that are so close, that animals, water and vegetation creep in (Weston, FL for example).  

Great looking video.  Especially the part where you are flying backwards...and the birds are flying under in the opposite direction.  

DENISG3577 Got it right. It's not "The" Everglades, more like re-purposed rock pits in suburbia, but the original video I tried to post was edited without the houses and Everglades sounded better.

Tharg, the area we live in is technically the Everglades. It has been developed but at one time was pristine. There are also areas near us that while not developed are still clear to fly in according too FAA regs.

Also, if it was a restricted NFZ, DJI's software would not have allowed it to launch at all.

Great video.  And about 100% certain the FAA police (Tip: there is no such thing) will come knocking due to this video that harmed..nothing.)

If you wish to get national park footage, edit out the launch and landing parts. Flyovers arent prohibited.

by the way..I have a few videos that I'll post up soon from various locations from a couple years back that will raise some eyebrows, but are great.  They were taken by a friend who used my Phantom but he was visiting here from another country. He's since left and I've not heard back from him again actually

You know it's just disappointing when you're excited about your new drone and try to share something you think is interesting and then a "Tharg" comes around to ruin the fun.  We were "Tharged"!

LOL. As if the FAA really had time to sort through forums and youtube to find out who flew a harmless copter over water and...birds.   

I personally dont care if someone posts a video of their Mavic LANDING ON THE ROOF of the white house.  That's their issue. Me posting my concerns over them getting permission days or weeks AFTER the flight occurred...are useless. lol

I know that guy. He borrows my Mavic sometimes too.
