Now you're back in Germany, remember that the law is changing and you need to place a sticker on the drone with your name and address!

thanks for the nice words about the video. The law with the stickers is not yet officially released here but I think this is a good way to sort out the drone pilots that do not keep to the regularies because they fear to get caught.  

Where're you from?

I'm originally Spanish, but I'm currently living close to Frankfurt, and waiting to get my Mavic! Yeah the law is not officially released, but I've decided to behave based on it from the very first moment, better to have everything in place if the polizei approaches you to question about what you're doing!

you're right CuaC, I also always try to be on the very safe side in regards of local drone laws wherever I use it. Hopefully the upcoming law will sort out the ones who do not follow the rules and regulations properly.

I think specially in Germany one have to be overcautious... In the town I live the people went crazy when somebody reported "people" was flying drones in the town and they could be looking at their backyards and planning to steal things... It turned out to be a couple of kids playing with a toy drone in the fields nearby...

That's why I love the mavic, less noise, less visible... less of a show to take it off the pack and fly...

yeah, especially in rural areas the people are kind of scared when they see a drone

Love how you synced up the movements with the Music. Amazing Job on this! The blurred zoom out effects where awesome!

Thanks Macdugel. I just tried to read out the exact camera settings from the video file but unfortunately it is not like the detailed data you get from photos so unfortunately I cannot tell you more than it is 4k in 30 fps. But usually I'm not much playing around with the settings and keep on auto white ballance and  no color profile. I only did very slight color correction when editing the videos in Premiere.

Great video. At 52 seconds, appears you werent the only one flying a DJI product!

Very nice. Love it. Plus looks like your mavic has perfect focus. not like mine, where left side is always out of focus...Youre among th elucky ones with apparently no problems with the mavic. Thats how it was meant to be for all of us, yet a lot of us instead of making nice looking videos like you, are having to deal with dji support to get our drones fixed...FML

After reading the first posts about the bad focussing on some of the firt Mavics I feared to watch these clips on the big screen when coming home but I am one of the lucky ones as you said. Good luck to get you focussing issues fixed asap. Guess DJI is very busy with complaints at the moment. Dom

Yes, there were 3 Phantoms flying around with me and I realized for the first time that the smaller size and the black color is not always a plus when trying to track the Mavic to avoid getting in contact with the other drones. The white Phantom is easy to spot compared to the Mavic.

Dear all,

Anybody know if there's law(s) regulation drones in Sri Lanka? I'm heading to Sri Lanka and other places in Asia tomorrow and hoping to bring my Mavic. Hope to get a reply before I leave, fingers crossed. Thanks for the help.
