Im going to be doing some editing of the 4k 5.2k footage the i2 is now capable of.  I need a new computer to do this and its between a PC or a Mac.  PC ~$3600 iMac ~$4100, I enjoy gaming so if a PC would work well then id prefer to go with that.  If I need an imac for some reason then im willing to go that way and give up gaming.  I have heard that Editing ProRes on a PC would not be a problem because I can use a 4k encoder/converter?  Please let me know wat you think and what you use personally.
