Man, you have it made in the shade. I live in the center of Alberta, where we are land locked.
Seeing these incredible videos is so fantastic. I feel like a kid in a candy store.

Can I camp in your back yard? ;-)

we got up early to specifically go looking for them and couldn't believe our luck. Wished I had flown it a little lower now though. Thanks for the positive comment

So do we, but our wildlife is kind of a Nono to fly over. Atleast the drone don't bother the aquatic life.

If we get caught flying over our herds or birds, we can get in a whole heap of trouble. ;-)

Best to stay well back, or high over head.

Yes, but it's amazing  at that height too. I've seen many whales while living near the ocean in Vancouver B.C. But have never had the wonderful opportunity to witness dolphins or porpoise in the wild.

Witnessing your video was an awesome way to be closer to these wonderful, smart and friendly mammals of the water.  I look forward to seeing your next video, which will be awesome as well. ;-)

Nice video. What were you flying? P4? What was your preplan for this video? Did you wait until the first sighting of dolphins before taking flight?

flying P4, we knew there was a good chance early in the morning and the seas had been like glass for a few days so I paid our diveboat captain extra to cme in early and go looking for them. Only took us 40 mins and boom loads. When the conditions are right again we will go out again but try and get shots closer ,risky but worth it
