Anybody know the cause of this video issue? It is visible in the video in the link below, clips at 26, 31, and 34 seconds. The water is not being displayed accurately. I have this issue on a few shots, usually with lots of detail (water, roofs, etc). I filmed this with the X3 on the Inspire 1 V2.0 at 1080/24 fps (I believe). I also imported the footage into Final Cut Pro 7 and exported as a .mov for smoother playback in Final Cut.

Do you see this with any other resolution? Did you happen to notice this after a firmware update or a hard landing?

Hard to say for sure, what brand and speed is your SD card? I use the SanDisk U3 Extreme plus 64gig chips with good results.    link

I always try to film in the highest resolution and if needed it can be downgraded in post.  Fun action shots for sure.....

I've noticed it with all resolution and formats that I film in. I have not had any hard landings and noticed it before i made any firmware updates

The next time you shoot in that sort of light, I would try an ND 16 or at least an 8 to get your shutter speed to around the 1/50 sec mark, I think you will be surprised the difference it makes.

For the most part, it looks like anti-aliasing. There might not be much that can be done about that. The exposure to the light could be making it more apparent, I would recommend trying Mark's advice to see if it helps.

Do you think I should get better with results by using the Z3 Zenmuse camera? I've been using the X5, but also own the Z3.

Anti aliasing may still be there, but not as much in comparison. Have you seen any difference when using the Z3?

I haven't noticed it yet but I also haven't used it as much.

You should see a difference whenever you have the chance to use it.
