The K1 arrived today. I updated it, installed DJ Go 4, and connected to the quad. No more glitchy video feeds and digital artifacts every few seconds! If you're having live view issues, it might be your controller device and not the quad. Keep that in mind before blaming the Phantom.

When you say updated it did you update to the new 5.0 (nougat) that was released yesterday?

K1 is red hot.  Other devices are doodly squat.  

One cool thing you can do is add a high quality 64 gb SD card and then install it as internal memory.  You can then move your apps and stuff over to the card, which leaves your fast true internal memory free to use when you need it.

I had read about this feature last week. Likely will try to switch things over before a shoot this afternoon. Thanks for the tip!

Sorry. I did not update the Android version. I only updated the Nvidia software as I was prompted to do.

If possible can you find what software versions Nvidia and or android you currently have installed (settings, about tablet). Version 5.0 of the Nvidia software was released yesterday.

GhostAmour anti-glare screen protector made a huge difference on mine.

I have updated to nougat and app keeps still rebooting!!!! Now i need to search how to downgrade Shield to older version!

Same here but I haven't tried again since uninstalling DJI Go 4 and reinstalling.
02.14.17 Update: After reinstalling DJI Go 4, everything is crash-free again. All is well.
02.16.17 update: Had another disconnect today.
02.19.17 update: Tried flying with Litchi all day today. Didn't have even one disconnect. The issue is DJI Go 4.

I don't have a solution for glare but I did go into the Shield's more advanced display options (for saturation, gamma, etc.) and I can see fine now without a hood or anti-glare screen. I even run in Optimized power mode (cannot use Battery Saver mode because the K1 thinks it's charging when plugged into the Phantom's controller) and I can still see everything on the screen when I am out under the bright Texas sun.

I'm not sure when, but my K1's Android had been updated too. Today I uninstalled and reinstalled DJI Go 4 though, and the app crash issues are gone.
