What device do you use to fly your I2?

i say at least iPad mini 4, never had any problems with it

I have tried both the Samsung Android based tab and the I-pad 9.7 IOS based.  The I-pad seems to definitely work best for me.  I get the feeling that the DJI Go 4 app is more 'mature' with IOS based devices than Android based devices.  Just my opinion.

I can def agree with the above. When I got my I1, I bought a "cheaper" samsung tablet just for flying purpose. right away I noticed a HUGE amount of video lag, returned it and got the "flagship" model (at the time) and the lag improved only slightly, but compared to my ipad air, it was not usable. Since then I have used an Ipad mini 2 and not currently have the ipad mini 4 (at&t) and love it. I have heard good things of the nvidia sheild, but never used it myself. At the price point ($199 us), probably not a bad option as long as there is no lag. I actually want one to have as a backup.. one day I might.

I see Phantom 4 Pro owners use the Samsung Galaxy Tab A 10.1" (Version 2016)...  Anyone tried this with a I2??

As others have stated, the IOS based devices (i.e. iPad) seem more stable.  I fly with an iPad Mini 4 on my I2 and occasionally use a NVIDIA Shield when flying my Mavic only because it has HDMI output.

iPad pro.. good processing. and great screen cant find anything better

In my opinion the I- pad pro standard size with wi- fi, cellular and GPS  works the best .  Plenty of power to handle the GO App and you can use all features that are on the go App with the Cell and GPS.   The bare Minimum from what I have seen in the I pad line is the I pad Mini version 3.  Anything less than that does not have enough power in the Apple line anyway.   ( this is just what I have observed on the forum )

Yes same for me, hope the 10.5" will be released in March. Currently using Mini 4 but would like a bigger screen

For me I pad mini 4 was good at first but now from 2020 it's started glitch n lag in between, may be because of iOS update . I am using Inspire2 with I pad mini 4 128gb rom n it's almost free, any can suggest me why it's happing so

I use ipad  mini 4 with 16gb of ram, but this ipad is strictly for drone use, there are no other apps installed , except for DJI Go 4.3.42  and litchi (and few browsers) and it runs fine.  I have also optimized the device and stopped all unecessary apps that run in the background.

You should consider optimizing your device.  Do a quck google search on how to optimize ipad for drone use.  There are many guides out there.

After optimizing,  test test and further test to see if it fixes your issue.
