Hello,

I was wandering if anyone could help me out. I want to be able to export high quality photos of this panorama in the little planet view.
The only way i can do it so far is by taking a screenshot and that isnt very good quality!

I made the panorama in Hugin and then edited the sky in photoshop and i am aware that you can use the photoshop filter: Polar co-ordinates to get a little planet effect however this makes the sky stretch and doesnt seem to produce as good images as the KRpano preview online here: https://www.skypixel.com/photos/ ... 9-9d46-30ea83996a4f

Is there any software (preferrably free) that can view the equirectangular image on my computer locally in the same way as KRPano and let you export the file as a little planet?

Thanks for your help,
James

Thanks but it seems a shame to spend so much on a license when i have been able to produce the panorama for free (besides Photoshop). Its just viewing and exporting the panorama i need. not really this software which does the stitching aswell!

I use Microsoft ICE.  It's free and works well assuming you are not on a Mac.   Google to find a how to vid, it takes about 5 mins and is easy.

So you can load and Export an equirectangular image as a little planet with this? without doing stitching?

Maybe I don't understand what you are trying to do.  I use ICE to stitch pano pics, make the tiny planet and then save as a new image.

Just been trying it and its great! it does the whole process which is brilliant! dont even need photoshop, thanks for your help!

OK, I knew MS ICE can make panos, but not little planets. Cool. I'll have to research that.
