Hey!

I was wondering, did anyone thought or tried doing the double CSC challenge mid air ?

Means:
Rolling the phantom high enough (lets say 150-200 meteres should be enough, but higher is better) and applying the CSC command, let it drop for a few seconds and than hit it again, hope the phantom stabilize itself, stops before it hits the ground and then hover, all being recorded of course, is it only in my mind as a crazy challenge ?

I'm so eager to try (well I won't) but I'm super curious to know if that's possible and what would actually happen..

Yes, it has been suggested before, and as far as I am aware, no-one has done it successfully. But don't let that stop you - go ahead and try it and come back and tell us what happened.

The rest of us like our aircraft far too much to try such a dumb stunt.

Is that the one next to the brown pile ?

If you try it in the flight simulator I recon it needs to be 400ft minimum to shut down, restart and recover.
