From what I understand, it still may not be legal to use in the US. Have you tried contacting enterprise@dji.com?

please be more specific by referring to specific part 107 regulations.  It weighs 54 pounds wet under the limit for sUAS.   Approval for the Yamaha Rotomax was necessary because it weighed over 200 pounds loaded.  Thank you

In regards to the flying an MG-1S in the USA.

Well you can fly the aircraft ..... but you can NOT apply chemicals or herbicides in any of the 50 States..... Unless you have a 14CFR part 137. Which a special waiver for applying aggregate from the air.

So in a nut shell all part 137 aircrafts are experimental.... and require all kind of things. which can be done of course, just a lot of paperwork. So here is one requirement which will set you back.

Having a part 107 license will most like not allow you fly it. You will need a PPL license. Which of course does not make sense right?

Here is another one, you will have to get a license to apply chemicals from the Air from you local state or even county.

All in all not an easy task but not impossible.

It looks like that each MG1 would have to registered as an experimental aircraft right now..... can only be flown by a PIC who  holds a PPL.
