Hello, I noticed that the videos I've taken today were copied on my phone, which wasn't the case before.
I don't know if it's due to an update of the Mavic's firmware or DJI GO 4 app, but how can I disable it?

I didn't fly for a week because of bad weather, so I can't say exacly since which update it occured...

PS: using a OnePlus 3T with android 7.0 and last version of DJI GO 4

There's a video Cache that automatically fills. It has always been the case.
I don't know the exact settings location, sorry

K4Unl: might be that, I'll look into it. But it's weird: it never copied the videos on my phone before today...

81SFORLIFE: I'm not sure what you meant but you are right, I'm not shooting in the highest resolution (720p is good enough for my usage and the files are already huge)

When you press record on your Mavic, in addition to the high-res video saved to your MicroSD card, the video that streams to your phone gets saved in a cache, unless you've disabled that functionality.

On iOS the video in the cache can be played/edited by the DJI Go4 app, but doesn't show up in iOS' photo album unless you manually copy it there using the Go 4 app's save feature -- maybe the new app on Android makes the cached videos available to the photo album, or the new Android OS can see the videos in the cache?

If you don't record in 4K (I use 2.7K), then nominate the 1080p the streaming option. This will cache the FPV files at 1080p and give you a higher definition FPV experience.

Ex Machina: I'll try to find how to disable that function. And yes, the video was available in my gallery although I didn't ask for it.

QuanthonyTrang: thanks for the info, I let it on 720p because I was afraid to have a less reliable video feed. But if it's OK, I'll try this mode

Disabling caching is probably a bad idea unless you are really tight for space on your phone -- consider losing your drone, the cached vide might help you figure out where it went down. fwiw.

I've set it on 1G, so I won't accumulate videos I don't need on my phone and I'll always have the current flight record if I need it (I hope I'll never will...)

Hilarious... You've got 64GB in that phone, but no need to cache the live feed? You may regret that...

Following the advice of others, I keep the live feed's cache of my last flight.
Setting it to 1 Go allows me to keep my last flight in cache (in case anything happens) and delete automatically the cache from previous flights (which are useless, I have them in better quality on the Mavic's SD card)

For me, i set it to 4gb so as i can view the past video anytime on the move without going back to my Mavic .

What do you mean by "nominate the 1080P the streaming option?  Where do I make changes for this-and thanks in advance.

So, I did not see where anyone told you where these settings are located. They under the general settings  ***   see the screen shots below.

I have a 256 gig iPhone 7 and use the 8GB level of cache. You can always go in to the App and manually clear the cache file if you want to.  I have several DJI drones and have never had a problem using the cache system on my devices

What if I want to change the location of where my cache video is saved? Because I have a 128gb card and 16gb phone. So I always have to send time moving files from the phone storage to the memory card.
