Inspire2 using the lastest firmware will tilt and pan while the landing gear is lower but once raised i can no longer pan the camera. If I switch between follow and free I can position the camera where I want it but have no pan function. Any thoughts would be great.

Thats not something new with the latest firmware, the I2 was doing that same thing before the update.

Very strange there is no option in the c1 c2 menu for the toggle between tilt and pan the i1 has this function,any thoughts on a work around for a single controller operator?

When in gimbal free mode, press & hold the c1 button while you rotate the left thumb wheel to yaw it. Or tap & hold your finger on the tablet screen until you see a blue circle appear, then drag you finger to freely move the gimbal. It's in the manual - pg 47 & 48.
