Hi all. I'm new to the forums and to the DJI phantom 3 standard but I'm already hooked!
I love phototography and a flying camera is just amazing. I've been a phantom flyer for only a month now but I've already managed to get out several times dispite the cold windy weather.

Here's some footage from around my home town. Edited in Blender VSE.

Really looking forward to reading through all the informative posts and learning more about aerial photography and video.

Cheers

Very nice. Was that a four car set from The Canadian I saw with covers over the upper windows?

That was a "cool" video". It resembles much of Alberta at this time of year, except the river here, has a thick coat of ice on it.

Thanks for sharing your flight.  Good job. ;-)

Not sure what you're seeing. A four car set?

Thanks. I love Alberta and II miss the Rockies. I lived in Lake Louise for 6 years. Wish I had a phantom 3 back then.

I was referring to the train in the signature shot, and also in the video clip?

Yes. Wow. That was nice of you to say. ;-)
Alberta is a wonderful place to call home. Been here for over 1/2 a century, might stay for another half. Hahahaha

Lake Louse is an incredible place. My family are actually from Canmore, so I know these areas quite well.
You might even say intimately. Haha

I was hoping to fly and capture some video of the Three Sisters, this coming summer... ;-)

Nice smooth shots, and I really liked the soundtrack. The scenery is beautiful.

Thanks for sharing it, and welcome to this addictive hobby!
