I purchased the above card for my P4p and formatted it in exfat. It worked for about 30 seconds and now won't work at all. I've tried using my Mac and the Go4 app to no avail. What am I missing? Any thoughts?

Thanks in advance.

Can you try to format it in the aircraft with the app? I got similar experience with my Samsung 64GB card, which works with P4P only if formatted in FAT32 file system, not in exFAT.

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I have tried to format the disk using the app, I have formatted it to Fat32  now as well but no go. I have rebooted the aircraft on each attempt along with the app. I have checked again that the card works OK in the camera.

There is a growing body of evidence that 128GB cards are not reliable in the P4P, try using a 64GB card and you will have more success. And for best results, always format in the aircraft, it knows best what format to use.

Thanks Geebax I'm seeing the evidence that 128gb gives problems. Just for the record, I did try for quite a while to format the card in the aircraft. The strange thing is that it actually did record images and video for about 30 seconds. Anyway, I have a 64 gb card on order. I appreciate the advice.

I have Samsung Pro+ 128 GB and it works perfectly, Sandisk extreme Pro 64GB perfect as well, haven't tried the Sandisk Extreme Pro 128Gb as i already had the samsung card but from what i hear it will also work.  Write speed is critical, need to be as high as possible, 90 mb/s is a good start.
