Hi,
I have a problem with my mavic.
I have tried all I can think of but can't find a solution.

I power the remote.
I power the mavic.
I take off.
within 1 second the mavic beeps
and then says landing and lands.

I cannot stop it from happening.
I tried calibrating, disabeling VPS,
disabeling object avoidance.

All it does on take of is beeps and then says landing and lands

latest app 4.0.5 on android (tried with 2 different tablets one on android 4.4 and one on 5.1 same issue)
latest firmware, ....

Hi not that it should be the case but are you in GPS mode before the take off or API or some other mode?

Try it with GEO on. I read that flying is more restrictive with GEO off.

Can you try somewhere away from NFZ and  see if this problem arise.

I flew it at my home before no problem even though it is in a NFZ.

Is there a way to re-apply the latest firmware ?

use DJI assistant 2 from your pc, connect your Mavic to the pc, then refresh the firmware

There were NFZ tweaks with the last firmware, if you could fly before you might want to roll back to the previous firmware if flying in that location is important to you.

It sounds like what it's actually doing is going into RTH, but because it's right at the takeoff point, the RTH procedure is "land now where you are."

Does your RTH button look jammed, by any chance? Can you try clicking it a few times to see if that helps?

ok so downgraded to previous firmware and now it DOES say return to home
so I turned all off and just started the remote itself

sure enough when I click the RTH button it makes no beepslike all the other buttons do, .....

When I push it it seems to click and push but no sound....

Is there a way to "reset" the remote ?

I had the same problem with my Mavic, and I was able to resolve it by refreshing the latest firmware on the remote control.  I used DJI Assistant 2

I am so sorry for the late reply. Yes it worked after a Firmware Upgrade afterwards!

Dude I love you
Mine was such bad timing I just installed asstinant 2 and calibrated the downward sensor after that the problem started so I assumed it had something to do with that so did it again and refreshed software downgraded factory reset nothing worked.

I then pressed the rth button on remote and noticed it wasn’t clicking so pressed it hard a few times felt a release and than it worked for me.

Thank you
