Picked up a P4P last week and I'm already having problems with it.

Video is giving me black lines in overexposed areas.
This is not because of the overexposure setting in the app.
These lines are baked into the actual footage and show up on CPU.

Other threads suggest its a problem with the ribbon cable... Not entirely sure if theres a way I could fix/troubleshoot this problem or if I should send it in for repair.

Any input would be appreciated.

It is defintely a camera problem, as your P4P is new, try for a DOA exchange as soon as you can. It is not worth trying to fix it if you can exchange it.

Hi guys,

I have the same problem in the overexposed areas (black verticals lines), and some strang noise when the image is darken. Somebody have the solution?
I have a P4, with last firmware, and the problem is on the file in the SD card and on the video return.

I confirm that the problem was only solved by DJI camera exchange.
