New to Mavic Pro and tentatively trying auto launch.  Indoors the drone gently launches to the requisite 3.9 feet upon initiation of auto launch but slowly drifts downward by about a foot or more over a period of 30 secs to a minute.  Is this normal?  Calibration or other problem?

The manual talks about some surfaces not working well with the downward-facing ultrasonic sensors, such surfaces as water and carpets. Were you over a rug or carpet, or anything that could absorb sound?

BTW, be extremely careful flying indoors, the forum is filled with sad stories of indoor fliers -- search for and read these to understand the challenges of indoor flying if you are determined to take the risk.

Thanks for the suggestions.  The floor was a light coloured vinyl tile.  I get your warning about indoor flying.  I just put it in take off then landed it.  Weather getting better up here in Canada so should be able to get outside and see if it hovers better in outside conditions.
