Hi all, this is what's happening: Bought my P4P+ last year, upgraded in January to firmware 01.02.0304 without problems.
Now that 01.03.0418 came out, I upgraded the firmware, and it seemed to go without problems, except my intelligent battery (the one that came withe P4P) stopped working altogether, with a "Battery signal error" and also (depending on where in the admin section you look) "Battery authentication failed". I can power on the drone, but I cannot take off with this battery.
I did update my remote (the plus version) to the 01.01.03.00 version.
I have read up on the forums, and I've tried refreshing the firmware on the drone with the bad battery inserted, I've tried upgrading with DJI Assiatnt 2, and also with the remote. I've tried downgrading the firmware and then re-upgrading it (with the bad battery in it). All of this to no avail.
Also I should note that I get the "Battery signal error" even if I go back to the 01.02.0304 version, with which the bad battery used to work well.
The other batteries I have are the ones for the P4, and those work well.
Does anyone have any idea of what I can try now? Failing that, what's the best way to contact DJI support for this? I really hate the hassle of dealing with sending stuff back for repair, so I'm hoping I missed maybe a way to force-update the battery firmware...
Thanks, all!
