I couldnt possible imagine how this one passed any tyope of QC or review process.

I have two types of battery insulators...one set is triangles...and the other covers the whole side.

The one that covers the whole side makes it so the batteries don't fit in the charger.

IN ADDITION, the whole side version ones peel up, they are not sticky enough to bond permenantely.

I think they need a quick trim at one end before hand

agree 100%,  but that still doesnt account for the inability to stay bonded to the surface of the battery.

I know I also agree with you they are not the best things they have produced especially as this it a very dear item that we are all trying to protect.

not supposed to "bond" as you don't need them in summer..In fact make sure you dont have them on when its warm its not good for battery to get too hot .

You simply remove and replace the white film they came with until next winter

Do not use those insulators although you manage to fit battery in charger!

Stickers may cause crash of your copter if peel out in air and hit propels. They did peel out overnight on table and under prop wash will peel out eventually for sure. They even tend to bend by itself and be in good contact to battery when hit to propel.
I flew at -20°C degrees with modified stickers and all worked fine. I cut stickers just like Inspire 1 stickers are. Now after two months sticker black surface has began to fail and stickers needs to removed. But summer is coming.

I reported DJI immediately about this and am waiting after two months if this is corrected somehow. I have been informed DJI has discussed with our local "FAA" about this issue.

Here are two photos of issue. Stickers bent like that overnight on table.

I did not consider the ramifications of this defect in flight,  that would really be a bad day.
