Ive seen a few leaked photos of  a new mavic s, anyone have any info about this please share. It's supposed to have bigger battery and different camera but what else?? Does anyone see any obvious differences?? Other than its glossy instead of matte.

I have found some specs differences online.
Full article can be found here

Seven Differences Between Mavic Pro and the Mysterious Mavic S Drone
1) weight: the S version comes in at 3 grams heavier, and it’s with or  without the gimbal cover
2)
the Mavic S having a battery life that tops out  at 25 minutes, versus the Mavic Pro that can last “up to 27 minutes”.
3)
the Mavic S has a maximum flight ceiling of 19865 feet, which  is 3461 feet higher than the Mavic Pro. 4, 5) the Mavic S lens also has a Field of View (FOV) of  94° using a 20mm lens with a slightly less shallow f/2.8 depth of field.   The FOV for the Mavic Pro is listed at just 74° with it’s 28mm lens  and f/2.2.
6) the final differences are in the framerate for recording video and the battery voltage of the remote controller.
FHD  or 1920×1080 recording mode can go as high as 120p on the Mavic S, but  tops out at 96p on the Mavic Pro.  The reverse is true for HD recording  mode at 1280×720: the Mavic S tops out at 60p while the Mavic Pro takes  it right to 120p.
7) Operating Voltage in the Mavic S remote control is listed at 700 mA.  In the Mavic Pro it’s 35% higher at 950 mA.

The great ununswered questions  remain:  Is the Mavic S actually going to be produced or was it just a prototype for the final Mavic Pro that we have today?

I'm thinking your right about this being a prototype to the mavic pro, it makes sense.

My gut feeling is saying it's a new Mavic (S) with less specs and set on a lower price then the Pro.

But, what do i know?
Back in 1994 i made fun of a guy who said to me that "internet" would become huge

I hope there is coming no new version now. They should improve the mavic pro. One feature i miss, is the Option to record at 2.7K with 48FPS or 60FPS. It should be technically possible.

I agree; the specs don't seem to indicate anything that would allow this thing to be sold at a significantly lower price point than the Mavic Pro and it seems unlikely that DJI would try to sell a "next generation" / new and improved model with inferior flight time.

Same here, seems like some early prototyupe of Mavic Pro. Glossy in the sunny sky is not good if taking pictures or recording video because of the reflections of the sun reflecting from glossy surfaces.
