I've seen some post that showed video with an overlay of flight data.  Can someone please tell me how it is done?

When you go under camera settings for video, you would toggle on the 'caption' option.

DJI "Caption" option is a subtitle file (embedded in the video file for the P4P).
I think what GreenHornet55 wants is something like this : http://www.dashware.net
