I tried to post a picture in a thread and the systm will not allow me to do so now.  It state that it must be less than 1000 kb but even when I reduce the size it still will not accept the picture.  I know for sure that in the past I have posted pictures much of much larger size than this without an issue.  

In my experience the interface for embedding photos is a bit flaky, you might try it a bit later when it's acting up, or possibly use another browser. I'm using Safari on MacOS and it's kind of hit or miss.

Are you sure it was a suitable file type?

Thanks Machina: I was trying to post a picture of some sights I took along the Bay beachfront this afternoon near the cliffs.  

What device is the picture stored?

If uploading from am ipad......function denied.

I have to upload from a MacBook or PC.

Thanks but I saved it to my Dell desktop like I have done so previously and it never failed.  Maybe next time>
