I recently bought myself a Mavic Pro.
Very happy with this state of the art equipment, especially travelling is a breeze.

However i also have a Phantom 2 with a Zenmuse Gopro H4-3D setup.
Modified it with all kind of stuff (long range antennas fpv monitor etc etc).
And it has been good to me, always rock solid and never let me down.

Rationally i need to sell it, cause i never use it.
But somehow it feels like selling your child.
What would you do?

Keep it. It's part of you and is worth more to you than anyone else

+1

And if you ever lose your Mavic, you can do a search with the P2

Definitely don't sell it dude. The phantom 2 in my opinion is the most reliable drone DJI ever made. No constant firmware updates, no DJI go app issues, and no "smart" features. I would keep that thing forever

I have several types of drones and kept them all. I am an avid RC pilot and driver, and I have several planes, cars and drones and just seeing them makes me happen, even when they no longer fly / drive.

Sell it if you don't plan to use it ever again. Maybe it will be much more of use to someone else

Mine, on the other hand, was under 6 feet of water for a few days in 2015 (house flooded).  The batteries were safely above the waterline, but I haven't tried to do anything with my P2 since then.  Seeing it doesn't really make me happy, I'm not certain how reliable it would be anymore, and if it were my child, I would tell it to take a bath...
