When changing the antennas some use theses not round signal so you have to hold them straight towards the drone, as the first picture show example of.

In this case, why not use a parabolic type of antenna and have a 3-5 m cable and a tripod for it and just aim it towards the direction the drone is?With this 24 dpi strong signal and parabolic type of large antenna, you will get a 3-4 times as strong signal as a smaller one.


Is there and reason not to, beside the fact you are less mobile?

One of the problems with the larger parabolic is a narrow beamwidth.  It can be very difficult to keep the drone within the signal's path.

Oh okey. Well thanks for the input. Im trying to find the best solution there is as a have serious problems with distance with my drone. Newer flew more the 900 meters away.

right now it looks like the best is to skip the 5 ghz signal and get a signal booster on the 2.4 ghz with both antennas and batterie boosting units and manuel set it to that frequence, as the best solution and not just change antennas.

Yes thanks but this is only all other drones and not the 4 Pro. As this has dual support, this mean you have to deside either not using amplifiers, only antennas, or use amplifiers but not use the auto function where both 2.4 and 5 is used..
