I received my P3S on Feb 3 and took it out for it's first flight on Feb 4 and know I was very cautious only flying about 50 meters off the ground and I know for certain I have never flown it any higher than 110 meters
But my flight log says TOP ALTITUDE 1261M?
WHAT'S THAT ABOUT
I looked on the flights and noting???
I purchased my P3S from Walmart on line so???
Any suggestions or how I can dig up the data on it..... Interesting if it did get that high lol

There's a bug that shows bogus Top Altitude numbers - ignore it.
Look at the date under the Top Altitude record and check the flights you made that day - none will be anywhere near the Top ALt number.

Your right. and like I said above I know it didn't happen, how can I delete it does anyone know

What is the height above sea level of the location you flew.

Google and Here maps have such info embedded into them. It may be you are seeing the Google / Here logged result of heights added together ?

I know this was a question of another forum where guy found exactly that ...

I've had super ridicules altitude numbers as well and I've not even broke the 200' mark yet, lol.

I was shooting Seismic along the Calif coast from San Fran up to Eureka many years ago .... we used to see a lot of salmon boats ...

Eureka ... what a place !! I didn't believe places like that still existed in US !!

I see the same thing. App says 1096 feet but I haven't touched 400, close but not quite, AGL that is. I'm at 937 ASL here. I'm in MN so we have plenty of fishing but for Salmon I go to Lake Michigan. It's not the Pacific  but it's a lot closer! ;)

That is probably an altitude in US Meters rather than Metric Metres

There is 14.8 US Meters to one Metric Metre*





*Well why not? .... they seem to have US versions of everything else!
