Today I noticed this at the front top of my Mavic Pro.

Looks like something inside wants to get out..

Anyone else here ever seen this?
Besides this no problem what so ever with my MP.

Just checked mine when I seen that, looks like someone trying to get out, it didn't fall or hit something, though if it did I suspect it wouldn't look like that..

Hi. I am quite sure there was similar damage on the Mavic head allready reported. It could be about 2  months ago... Curious what it could cause.

Check out the thread on mavicpilots.com, people are starting to get cracks.  It is happening more on drones used in sports mode, my hypothesis is as follows: where the bumps are is right over the front locking tabs, I think the weight of the battery, shifting in flight puts strain on the front tabs. There are to plastic clips under that spot which hold the  top and bottom.

Looks like I'm not the only one :-/

I do not fly my Mavic in sports mode (I've got other mini's to do that).

I've contacted support about this issue. Lets see and wait.
Will report back when I know more.

They will have you send it in, make sure they do a warranty and repair the original or a new replacement.

I don't think about sport mode causing the bumps.
I have over 18,500ft in travel distance and I used sport mode most of the time, but my MV doesn't have this issue.
IMO, it could be happened by handling.

You may be totally correct, I am just going off circumstantial reports as I try to figure what is causing this, it may just be a coincidence.  my thought was the weight of the battery in flight might put forward stress and rearward strain on the locking tabs as it maneuvers.  However, as I have said, it is just a theory.

Could be just a flaw in the design. Going to be taking a close look at my Mavic when I get home today.

Ouch, that looks like a serious issue.
I wonder what causes this.

I have this too.

It was like this out of the box.

Not the greatest picture of the problem but taken on my first flight and clearly apparent.

Also mine have one mark like that some depressed zone in that place...was there from new out of the box December build...always tough that a worker with muscles  at factory has pressed the part to hard to clip it and his finger deformed the plastic....or mold defect...the mark remained the same over time...now I have foil over it...I could not inspect more...but the depresion it is visible even thru the foil...

I just checked old photos from mine and mine seems to have had those two bumps all along.   I have been flying steadily since November.  Has DJI accepted a warranty return because of that?  It's not clear to me that this represents a problem.
