Hello,

i've got my new DJI Mavic Pro and first i tried to update the Firmware from Version 01.03.300 to 01.03.500. All my attempts to update the Firmware unfortunately failed.
Both, with the DJI Go 4 app on Galaxy S6 and the DJI Assistant 2 on an Windows 10 and Windows 8 Computer failed. Only the RC was updated to the new Firmware Version.


I hope someone can help me to update the Firmware of my Mavic.

If you sync your flight records, delete/reinstall the app then ti should tell you there's a firmware update required again and see if it will
I'm not sure why it will not update from the PC.
Can you post a screenshot from the PC showing what firmware it has and also from the About page in the app.

Within your attached UpdateLog.Zip is a log file named WM610_FW_LOG_AB.txt. This appears to somehow be an Inspire update log, as WM610 is an Inspire, and the download firmware file is 37480328B in size (almost twice the size of the Mavic). The log complains of a header error, which would happen if the system is trying to load Inspire firmware...

1) Any explanation of how or why the WM10 log file is attached?

2) Can you post a screenshot of your GO4 App ABOUT screen?

3) Can you connect your Mavic to the Assistant 2 and post a screenshot of the firmware page?

i don't know why the filename is called like the Inspire Log-File I get this file from my Mavic sd card \MISC\LOG\

Today i tried another smartphone with a new installation of DJI GO4 App with the same result ... I also tried to reinstall the DJI Assistant 2 and upgrade to 01.03.400 also with the same result ... no way to upgrade the firmware of my mavic

Hi.

1) Before trying again, remove any files you may want from the aircraft SD Card and then format it using the Mavic so that it is completely clean.
2) Connect to the DJI Assistant 2 and under Firmware Update, click the Blue Button labeled RESTORE FACTORY DEFAULTS....
3) Power cycle the Mavic.
4) Try to first upgrade to v01.03.0400 and evaluate the results.
5) Power cycle the Mavic.
6) If successful then try v01.03.0500.
7) Power cycle the Mavic.
